“It’s always tought coming up with top 100 lists – expecially when ensuring it represents the past thirty years of gaming fairly,” said Rick Porter, games™ Editor In Chief. “It’s even harder designing 100 covers that present the games in the way that they deserve. While the more standard covers in our 100 look great, the majority saw a lot of extra time and effort so that the fans of the game in question were really catered for. After all, there are only 400 of each out there, so we feel it’s important that those who make the effort to track down their favourite get something truly collectable.”
The issue 100 celebrations also include a number of industry figures contributing columns, interviews and general comment as part of an epic, 22-page ‘Greatest Games Of All Time’ feature. Peter Molyneux, Ken Levine, Clint Hocking, Tetsuya Mizuguchi and Gabe Newell are just a few of the legends that have got involved with this special issue.
